The RP Group Honors Denise Wilkerson

For nearly a decade, Denise Wilkerson served as the RP Group's finance director. Denise was the Director of Fiscal Services at the California Community College League, which generously agreed to donate her time. During Denise's tenure, which spanned the launch of RP's research and evaluation work in 2000 to her retirement in 2008, she kept the RP Group's books and served as its institutional memory.

Denise was always profoundly compentant and met every challenge with a clear sense of the possible. She oversaw the RP Group's operational growth and development, provided a vital link among new organizational leaders, and supported its transition from an all-volunteer to a staffed oragnization. All who worked with her on our board and staff remember her with the greatest fondness and respect.

Denise fought bravely against cancer and passed away on January 15, 2012. She will be greatly missed.
